The City of Greer owns and operates Mountain View Cemetery. Although it is not a perpetual care cemetery, city crews keep the grounds well maintained.

There are two entrances to access the cemetery on North Avenue. The city asks visitors to respect the property and others visiting gravesites. No recreational or exercise activities are permitted inside the cemetery boundaries. The consumption of food or beverages and the use of tobacco products is also prohibited.
